Painting of a Wolf interweaved in a Celtic Knot

This European Wolf is a portrait of a specimen to be found in the Kelvingrove Art Gallery/Museum in Glasgow.
All my other wolf drawings were from live animals drawn at the Highland Wildlife Park, which, at the time of drawing, were not of pure European lineage!
(Update: the current animals are pure-bred.)

I chose to use 'Kelvin' (as I call him) for this work, to maintain the integrity of this celtic series.
Runes have been cast upon his Celtic Knot, but I haven't applied them yet.
