The drawing of the nest shows the artificial support which was used when the nest was rebuilt by wardens at Loch Garten, following its destruction by vandals.
In this drawing, however, my attention to details of the reconstruction was interrupted by the action shown here.
This is the joy of 'live drawing' — one simply does not know what is going to happen next.
