Julie's Work

Diary Leaves

Named because the work developed over an extended period from a circular scrape among the fallen beech leaves to this powerful pattern using the contrasting tones of the upper and lower surfaces of a leaf. Julie expressed a developing clarity of vision.
The challenge of engaging with work in nature is the enormous variety of media available. This excellent outcome is the result of aesthetic control.
