A whimsical play-piece is embellishing the end-game of rain-water flowing down the trunk of one of the magnificent beech trees in the grove.
The attempt to catch the water is, of course, doomed but the contrived water spout is decorated with soft drink can scrap and ferns, even illuminated by a small candle, as if to celebrate the folly of humankind.
