Pencil drawing of topis - 11Kb

Sketches of Topi

Damaliscus lunatus     Topi/Nyamera

Topi are always alert, characteristically standing on top of a termite mound keeping lookout for predators. Their nostrils constantly twitch and ears scan for signs of trouble.
Drawing Topi is difficult due to their very dark faces and high set eyes, with a gland where you might normally expect the eye to be.
The right hand animal in the drawing has suffered a 'twist' due to head movement while I was drawing.
