Samburu dancers

Some game lodges have regular displays of local tribal dance. In this case, the young men and women of the Samburu. The musical accompaniment to their performance is by their singing, clapping, stamping and jingling of their ornaments. The young men (morani) move in a rhythmic procession, bowing and bobbing, soon to form a circle into which each takes his turn to display his vertical jumping skills. Each has his own style.
