Reticulated Giraffe sketches

Of all the Giraffe sub-species, the Reticulated, drawn here in Samburu, has the most distinctive pattern, like well-laid crazy paving.

The elongated neck brings the 'eating machine' into the high branches. But a telescoping device, that is, the tongue, stretches even further, lubricated by thick saliva and incredibly prehensile, snatches the leaves of the acacia from between enormous thorns.
