All of these drawings of Cheetah are of the same animal, which we found consuming its kill (a Thomson's Gazelle) late in the afternoon on the Masai Mara.
The pattern of spots does not indicate huge spotless areas, but rather that my eye has picked up the flowing pattern of a series of marks in the animal's coat. |
